Description
Grove – Raven Collection
Spalted beechwood inlayed into a black G10 composite handle and sterling silver accents with a sturdy brown leather sheath. This is the 83rd of only 250 of these knives crafted.
The simple, well-conceived and executed, is simply sublime. The William Henry ‘Grove’ features lustrous inlays crafted from stabilized orange spalted beechwood. This lovely wood captures a moment in time, when decay has started to reveal dark lines (spalting) moving thru the grain. The beechwood is framed in a black G10 composite handle, tough and comfortable. Fully polished by hand, assembled and dissembled multiple times, this architecture has an open channel to see thru to the damascus tang. The blade/tang are forged from 67 layers of three alloys, with a core of VG-10 at HRC 60 for optimal sharpness and wear resistance. Finished with a leather lanyard, sterling silver accents, and includes a sturdy brown leather William Henry sheath.
