Our process is deliberate and thorough:

1. Comprehensive Inspection
We examine the entire piece, not just the missing or damaged stone, evaluating prongs, settings, and overall wear.

2. Stone Assessment & Sourcing 
We determine the appropriate size, shape, and type of stone needed. When matching an existing piece, we carefully source a diamond or gemstone that aligns in color, cut, and character.

3. Setting Evaluation
We assess whether the current setting can securely hold a new stone or if restoration (such as retipping or rebuilding prongs) is needed.

4. Precision Setting
The new stone is carefully set using techniques suited to the design, ensuring both security and proper alignment.

5. Refinishing & Polishing
The piece is refined and polished so the new stone integrates seamlessly with the original design.

6. Final Security Check
Before returning your jewelry, we thoroughly test the setting to ensure long-term durability and confident wear.

In most cases, yes. We can source and set a suitable replacement depending on the size, shape, and condition of the setting.

 

We make every effort to match color, cut, and overall appearance so the replacement blends naturally with the original piece.

If the setting cannot safely secure a stone, we will explain why and recommend appropriate restoration options before proceeding.

The majority of our stone setting work is completed right here in our Freeport workshop, ensuring quality and consistency.

Costs vary based on the type of stone, size, quality, and any additional repair work needed. We provide clear estimates after evaluating your jewelry.

We are fully insured, and your jewelry is on our premises while it is with us. Any help in assigning it a value is greatly appreciated. If you don’t have any idea, not to worry! Our trained professionals will be able to assign a declared value for our insurance.

During certain times of the year, specifically around the holidays, and sometimes due to the extent of your repair, the turnaround might be a bit longer. We have recently moved to a new location (March, 2025) so please expect a longer return time.
