Appreciated all over the world for centuries, ruby was called the “king of precious stones” in ancient India for its hardness (second only to diamond) and rareness. Burmese warriors believed it made them untouchable in battle, and Medieval Europeans believed that rubies bestowed health, wisdom, wealth and success in love.
This ring honors the clear influence and history of the ruby by combining 18K yellow and white gold with diamonds to set the center gem on fire.
