This tournament is to honor Bradford Martin, and help raise money to fight Dyskeratosis Congenita. Brad was a world traveler, nature enthusiast, athlete, and avid sports fan. Loved by many, and gone much too soon, we are immensely honored to be involved in this event. Register here to help us support this extraordinarily important research and Brad’s family.

October, 2026 – A Color Celebration
Meet the Experts Behind the Gemstones
This October, we invite you to explore the fascinating world of colored gemstones through a series of exclusive educational events and private viewing opportunities.
Nature has created an extraordinary collection of gemstones, each with its own story. Did you know that some gemstones naturally change color under different light sources? That certain gems are magnetic? Or that some blue gemstones can fluoresce brilliant shades of red?
The world of color is filled with surprises, and this October you’ll have the opportunity to experience it through the eyes of some of the industry’s most respected gemstone experts.
Following the success of last year’s Gemstone Round Table, we are expanding the celebration with two special guest presentations featuring internationally respected gemologists, gemstone cutters, miners, and collectors who have spent their lives pursuing some of the world’s most beautiful treasures.
October 8th – An Evening With John Bradshaw
We are honored to welcome back our friend and gemstone expert, John Bradshaw. Miner, gem cutter, gemologist, and world traveler, John is widely respected throughout the gemstone industry for his knowledge, integrity, and passion for rare and beautiful gemstones. While his work often takes him around the globe in search of exceptional material, we’re fortunate to have him join us once again in Freeport for an intimate evening of gemstone exploration.
John has a remarkable talent for finding gemstones that are not only beautiful and rare—sometimes exceptionally rare—but also approachable and wearable. His stories from the mines, cutting workshops, and gemstone markets of the world bring each gemstone to life.
This after-hours Gemstone Round Table is a one-night-only opportunity with extremely limited seating.
If you enjoy learning, collecting, or simply discovering the stories behind extraordinary gemstones, we invite you to join us.
October 15th – 17th – 3 Days Featuring Gem Experts, Mayer & Watt
Join us for 3 days of exploring and celebrating the wonder and color of gemstones. The gem expert team of Simon & Laurie Watt will be with us to share their knowledge and magnificently unique specimens. Enjoy a private gemstone roundtable on the evening of Thursday, 10/15 followed by two days of their expertise in our store. Enjoy opportunities to explore an exceptional collection of gems, ask questions, purchase, and stop in any time to see the wonders they will be sharing.
If you are interested in a particular gemstone or would like dedicated time with Simon or Laurie, we encourage you to contact us before their visit. Private appointments may be arranged during regular business hours on Friday and Saturday.
Both round table discussions are intentionally small to encourage conversation, questions, and hands-on learning.
Whether you’re a gemstone collector, jewelry enthusiast, or simply curious about the extraordinary colors found in nature, we hope you’ll join us for these special October events.
Space is limited so contact us early to reserve your seat
